We use QuickBooks Online to handle your bookkeeping. If you're new to QuickBooks or need assistance migrating from another platform, we'll take care of the setup process for you.
After receiving all your documents and required information, we aim to complete your bookkeeping within 10 business days.
If your bookkeeping is behind, we can help, whether it's just a couple of months or several years. Catch-up bookkeeping typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the backlog and the number of transactions.
We believe this is the fairest pricing model. Revenue and expenses don't always reflect the complexity of bookkeeping. Since your books are built from transactions, bookkeeping for a company with 50 transactions per month is simpler than for one with 200+ transactions.
A transaction is any item on a bank statement. For example, your monthly insurance payment or a payment to your business loan are both considered transactions. During our onboarding process, we'll review your past transactions and set you up with the perfect plan tailored to your needs.
Our pricing plans are designed around the average monthly transactions your business processes, based on the last six months of activity. If there’s a temporary spike in transactions, we won’t automatically adjust your plan, ensuring you only pay for what you consistently need.
Our plans are month-to-month, so you can cancel whenever you need. We prioritize your satisfaction over long-term commitments, and there are no annual contracts to worry about. Please note that fees for months already started or completed are non-refundable.
We use accrual accounting, as it's the standard in Canada. While cash accounting is allowed in the U.S., in Canada, unless you're a farmer or fisherman, your financial records must be prepared on an accrual basis.
Aside from payroll support, general business administration is not included in our services. However, we partner with trusted providers who specialize in business admin, and we’d be happy to refer you to them for additional support.
We don't handle corporate taxes, so you'll still need an accountant. However, your bookkeeping team will prepare everything your accountant needs at tax time. We can also communicate directly with your accountant to save you time and eliminate the hassle of tracking down the necessary documents and statements.
